OR 手術劇院

Tracy Yang Jazz Orchestra 楊又臻爵士大樂團 OR symbolizes the operating room, embodying a dream I once had of working in that setting and marking a transformative journey from a radiographer to an artist. Leaving mybeloved field of medicine was a challenging decision. Yet, I sensed something was missing in my life, urging me to follow the rhythm of my heart. Jazz was the force that brought me to the US in 2013 and set me on the path of becoming a jazz composer. Over these past ten years, I have strived to puzzle my existence, explore various possibilities, and manifest numerous new dreams into reality. It has been the most beautiful and meaningful chapter of my life. On the days of recording OR, I felt as if I were entering my operating room alongside my dedicated OR team. It marks a profound milestone in this transformative journey and integrates my two beloved worlds into this new realm. After we wrapped up the session, on my way home, I felt a sense of fulfillment and freedom, as if I could finally spread my wings and fly. Tracy Yang Jan 23rd, 2024
